He lived at the Passionist Community, Sacred Heart Retreat, 1924 Newburg Road. He was a native of St. Louis, MO, and was a son of St. Francis de Sales Parish. He was a member of the Passionist Community for 32 years and a Catholic priest for 28 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred J. DeManuele; and sister, Janine M. John Patrick Day, C.P. 8244 Hwy AE Sullivan MO 63080 (314) 739-0230 Bellarmine, BA in Philosophy; Catholic Theological Union; Ordained July 8, 1972. 14 Years in Japan, Tokyo, Nagasaki, Osaka. In St. Louis area for the last 18 years doing parish work. Have been working with the IL State Police for 11 years as both a Chaplain and a firearms instructor. Also helped start the Chaplains' Program for the MO Highway Patrol. The Troopers are a second family. I think that it is wonderful that we have a chance to get in touch with one another. Memories: Most of all I remember good friends and working over at the farm with Bro. Bob and Bro. Norbert. All 3 of us were from Calhoun County, Illinois.

Corporate trainer on many topics. Married to Rose since 2000. She was my prom date in 1962. We each brought 3 amazing children into that once-and-future relationship. The Prep gave me the community to measure all other communities by in my life: the school subjects, friends, outdoor fun, spiritual feed, and music. Passionist formation set me up for a career of soulful secular versions of missions, retreats, spiritual journeys, writing, and community leadership.
